Research Interests

• Immunopharmacology: Investigation and evaluation of the functional role of mediators of inflammation. Quantification of histamine (fluorometry), NO (photometry) and cytokines (ELISA) in the rat conjunctiva, hypothalamus, cartilage and blood vessels; in human biological samples and blood lymphocyte cultures.
• Investigation of the mechanisms underlying the cellular stress response (yeast cultures, microscopy, Western blotting)
